Smart Lil Highbrow
Gallop is pleased to offer a service to a top notch name in the industry, Smart Lil Highbrow. At three, he was a finalist in the 1992 Will Rogers Open Futurity. At four, he was 4th at the 1993 NCHA Open Super Stakes; top ten at the 1993 NCHA Open Derby; split 6th at the Bonanza 4-Year-Old Open; split 7th at the Abilene Western Open Derby; and finalist in the Abilene Spectacular Open Derby. At five & six, he was 3rd at the 1994 NCHA Open Classic; 1994 Chisholm Trail Open Classic Co-Reserve Champion; 5th, NCHA Super Stakes Open Classic; 3rd, 1995 Abilene Spectacular Open Classic/Challenge; finalist in the 1994 Augusta Open Classic, Abilene Western Open Classic and Glen Rose Open Classic; money-earner in the 1994 Bonanza 5/6 Year-Old Open and Gold Coast Open Classic. As an aged horse, he was a finalist in the 1997 Chevy Nationals East $5,000 Novice. In AQHA events, he was top ten at the 1995 AQHA World Championship Show in Senior Cutting, holds an AQHA ROM, and is the earner of 18 points. Smart Lil Highbrow is a full brother to world renown, “High Brow Cat.” His sire, High Brow Hickory, earned $229,771 during his performance career. An Equi-Stat All-Time Leading Cutting Sire with offspring earnings of more than $4,500,000. Smart Lil Highbrow has produced over 70 performers that have won close to $687,502 in Cutting, Reining, and Working Cow horse competitions, a sire record that follows a show career with nearly $100,000 in Cutting himself. His top money earners, Smart Little Ginney, a 1994 mare that was a Non-Pro semi-finalist at the 1997 NCHA Futurity, was Co-Reserve Champion at the 2000 Utah Cutting Horse Futurity in the 5/6 Year-Old Non-Pro and was third in the 5/6 Year-Old Non-Pro at the 2000 NCHA Summer Spectacular. She is the earner of over $69,000. He also sired Smart Lil Highjinks, who has earned more than $65,000 in Cutting and was the 2001 NCHA Eastern National Championships $50,000 Amateur Reserve Champion; Turtle Angel, a finalist at the 2003 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro; and High Barbie, his third highest earner at $51,282. Smart Lil Highbrow is owned by, Smart Lil Highbrow Syndicate, and stands in Kingsburg, California.
